Foster Our Future

The problem at hand.

Each year, more than 400 million tonnes of plastic are manufactured. However, these plastic products don’t simply disappear after their initial use, taking between 20 to 500 years to fully decompose. 85% of plastic products end up in landfills or as uncontrolled waste, damaging the environment and natural ecosystems. Every year, diseases and accidents linked to plastic pollution kill between 400,000 and 1,000,000 people and more than 1,000,000 animals.

Our Target

With almost 2,000,000 tonnes of plastic pollution annually, Thailand ranks sixth among all countries in terms of its contribution to ocean waste. Thailand has produced 14% more plastic garbage since 2022, an increase of 6,000 tonnes. The natural beauty and ecology of Thailand’s seas are being destroyed by plastic pollution.

How we help.

In collaboration with the TerraCycle Thailand Foundation, we will make collective efforts to reduce single-use plastics usage in our neighborhoods. We want to raise $45,000 to improve Thailand’s waste management systems by sponsoring facilities that handle waste in the infromal sector. We will spread awareness and establish garbage banks in nearby towns, eliminating between 100 and 400 pounds of plastic waste per month.
