New Presidents Meeting (NPM)

New Presidents Meeting (NPM) is our annual training and networking session for Interact Clubs Presidents in District 5170. This is a mandatory club leadership training session for all Interact Club Presidents. Interact Presidents who cannot attend need to send their Vice President or other officer as their representative. New this year: NPM is now limited to 2 representatives per club. For Interact Clubs with Co-Presidents, both Co-Presidents may attend.

Interact Fall Rally (IFR)

Fall Rally is a new event that will bring together hundreds of Interactors from the district for networking, Interact Area spirit rallies, and the announcement of this year’s Interact projects. Interactors will have the opportunity to meet over 300 Interactors from other schools throughout the bay area.

Fall Leadership Conference (FLC)

Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) is our premier leadership development conference for Interact Club leaders. We teach over 200 Interact student leaders leadership skills and practical tactics for leading Interact Clubs.

Presidents Winter Retreat (PWR)

Presidents Winter Retreat is an overnight leadership experience for Interact Club Presidents and future/prospective Interact Club Presidents. Attendees experience team building activities, learn leadership skills through workshops, and connect with other club presidents from throughout the bay area. This is a nomination-only and invite-only event.

Introducing our 2026-2027 Community Project:

FLOWING FUTURES :ocean:

This year, our community project will be centered around mitigating the risks of water pollution and paving the way for cleaner waterways. In partnership with SaveTheBay, Interact District 5170 will be dedicating 5000 service hours to cleaning up pollutants by waterways, replacing invasive species with native ones, and increasing climate literacy by connecting students to community action workshops hosted by our partner.

Every cleanup, every plant, every hour of service brings us one step closer to healthier waterways and a thriving Bay Area.

We might be individual drops, but together, we can create a wave of change.

Introducing our 2026-2027 International Project…

This year, Interact District 5170 will be partnering with the Aga Khan Foundation to bring sustainable access to clean water to families in Charde, a village in Bamyan, Afghanistan. Together, we will raise $50,000 to provide clean water access to 800+ families and support over 1,500 high-school students, improving health and creating lasting change for the community.
