Intercircles!

Posted by Alex L

What is Intercircles? Intercircles is a  “family system” idea that each individual Interact club organizes. Each officer/board member is assigned a group of general members to keep in touch with, to personally inform about exciting events. This allows a closer and a more personal connection between general members and the Interact leadership team. Hold an Intercircles bonding every few months to talk about your club’s achievements, leadership positions, and anything related to Interact. Play games, connect, and get interactive with your members.

Why? We want our clubs to have strong and passionate leaders when upperclassmen graduate. Intercircles can help by getting lowerclassmen more involved and giving them a more personal connection to Interact. In large clubs, a big amount members might not feel connected and involved with the club, therefore decide to no longer participate in Interact. Intercircles is able to help because Interactors in leadership positions are communicating, getting more members involved, and giving the personal feeling of Interact Love.

Currently there are three Interact clubs that have integrated the idea of Intercircles into their clubs; Independence (A6), Yerba Buena (A8), and Irvington (A5)!

How? Email outreach@interact5170.org and we’ll help you get started right away!

Any questions? Please don’t hesitate to email outreach@interact5170.org! Please send us  pictures of Intercircle bondings or Intercircle related events!

Few PICTURES of Intercircle bondings!!!

Got pictures of your Intercircles event? Send them to outreach@interact5170.org!

The good news and the bad news

Posted by Felmer Lenida

Hey guys!

For the past couple of months I have been working with UC Davis Rotaract to try to schedule our second Rotaract trip of the year!

Unfortunately, the  UC Davis trip will not be happening this year. There were no available dates that worked well for both our District, and their club.

But don’t lose hope! A second UC Berkley Rotaract Sleepover is being discussed! CROSS YOUR FINGERS :D

Peace. Love. Interact

-Felmer
