Hey Seniors!
Interact District 5170 wants to know where you are going to college next year. We want to do this so we can get you in contact with a college Rotaract Club ASAP! What is Rotaract? Basically think of an Interact Club in college. At the beginning of March, a senior survey will be out with a few questions of contact and what college you are going to. This information will be given to Donn Wadley, the chairman for the Rotaract branch.

Hey guys!
For the past couple of months I have been working with UC Davis Rotaract to try to schedule our second Rotaract trip of the year!
Unfortunately, the UC Davis trip will not be happening this year. There were no available dates that worked well for both our District, and their club.
But don’t lose hope! A second UC Berkley Rotaract Sleepover is being discussed! CROSS YOUR FINGERS

HEY INTERACTORS!
Participate in a day dedicated to service with Interactors all over the district!
When?: ALL DAY DECEMBER 18TH, 2011
Where?:EVERYWHERE! (Ask your club president(s) or Area Director for more information on the event your club/area will be part of)
Who?: EVERYONE (Interactors, Rotaractors, Youthactors, Rotarians, family members, and EVERYONE ELSE!)
Why?: YOU KNOW YOU LIKE TO!
READY FOR THE CHALLENGE?!?!
1.) Have Rotaractors, Rotarians, and/or Youthactors participate in your club’s or area’s service project.
2.) Get a count of how many Rotarians/Rotaractors/Youthactors and take pictures of the event (group picture with everyone would be great too!)
3.) Send pictures to outreach@interact5170.org
4.) Felmer and I will choose the most legit project filled with Rotarians/Rotaractors/Youthactors to feature on this webpage for the world to see…and perhaps a surprise?
I’m truly diggin’ the functions of this website! In order for all of us to be active Interactors, we have to have great communication! 
I have included on the bottom of this post a list of Interact Club websites from some schools in Area 8! <3 With this, feel free to explore what Interactors are up to and possibly join them in some of their events!
Alex and I are currently working on a few other sleepovers. Possible locations are UC Davis, Stanford and possibly another one at UC Berkeley! We will try to publish as much info and try to get apps out for this soon! We want everyone to get a fair chance on going to the new locations.
