AREAS 4 & 5 CHARITY DINNER AUDITIONS

Posted by Alex Q

If you would like to audition for the Area 4 & 5 Charity Dinner on April 20, please read the following instructions:

1) Record a 3-5 minute audition of what you (or your group) can do! This doesn’t have to necessarily be your final act, but just something to show us your talent.

2) Upload it onto Youtube as set as “unlisted” and send area4@interact5170.org and area5@interact5170.org and email with your name (or group name), school, and contact phone number. We don’t want public YouTube videos because we don’t want people to see the acts beforehand!

3) We’ll be sending you an email confirmation that we’ve received your audition, so if we haven’t done so within two days after sending your audition, then feel free to nag us until we respond!

Please double check if you are free on April 20. Performers will be sign a performer’s contract and pay a $20 safety deposit. If you are accepted, you are expected to perform, or else will keep your $20 as a donation towards Free The Youth.

AUDITIONS ARE DUE ON FEBRUARY 29 AT 11:59 PM! Please get them in ASAP! If you have any questions, feel free to email us at area4@interact5170.org and area5@interact5170.org.

AREA 45 CAROLING FOR CANS: PART 2

Posted by Alex Q

Thank you all so much for coming out to the last part of Caroling For Cans and making it a SUCCESS! We’ve raised over 400+ cans for Abode Services from these two nights of hard work, and Norman and I wanted to commend you for a job well done. It was cold, it was awkward at times (when people closed their doors on us), but it was worth it to make a difference in our community.

Peace & love.

Area 45 Caroling For Cans: Part 1

Posted by Alex Q

Thank you to everyone who came out to Caroling For Cans Part 1! It was cold, it was tiring, and it was the day before SATs, but you all pulled through and collected 170 cans for Abode Services (formerly known as the Tri-City Homeless Shelter). When we dropped the cans off at the homeless shelter, it was absolutely heartwarming to see the looks of gratitude on the peoples’ faces and it definitely put it into perspective as to why community service is so important. We are all busy this winter break with college applications, finals, and SATs, but let’s not forget that the greatest gift of all is our time.

It’s time to make a change in the community. Come out to the second part of Caroling For Cans in Area 4 this Friday, December 9, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Location will be posted later today!
