Today we had an Area 11 officer bonding at Hana Sushi, and then walked to Central Park.
Thanks to everyone that came! and I hope to see everyone at FLC!
Area 11 Bonding #2
New Presidents Meeting 2011, was an unforgettable day where 150+ Presidents and Club Leaders from over 80 clubs came together to learn about service, leadership, and Interact.
We started the day with a video: recapping last year’s efforts and successes, as well as introducing our ’11-’12 District 5170 theme: SHARE INTERACT.
We spent the remainder of the day playing ice breakers, bonding with other Interactors, planning our year in Area Meetings, and learning how to be the best leaders possible in our Discussion Forums. Overall the day was a great success: AND IT WAS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!
We want to express our utmost gratitude again for attending and kicking off the Interact year with a Bang!
Hello Interactors of District 5170!
We are very proud to introduce your new Area 11 Director for the 2011-2012 Year: Tiffany Yung.
Tiffany is a Junior at Saratoga High School, and the President of their Interact club!
She will be the Director of 5 clubs this year (though she is hoping to start more!):
- Santa Clara
- Wilcox
- Westmont
- Saratoga
- Saint Lawrence Academy
Tiffany has been involved with Interact throughout high school! She “loves encouraging others and [she] always tries to keep a smile on [her] face”. She’s “here to serve and not be served” – she wants to “start and end this year strong”! She has big plans so contact her to get more involved
